Lees verderOur experts in France are about to start a new mission involving the construction of a biomethane facility in the country’s Loire Valley region.
Also known as “green gas”, biomethane is considered the energy source of the future. Produced from organic waste, it’s 100% renewable, non-toxic and a high-performance complement to the energy mix.
Tractebel has just been awarded a contract for the construction of a biomethane facility located in Cher department, in France’s Loire Valley region. It will produce biomethane through anaerobic conversion of agricultural wastes exclusively coming from the client’s farm. Tractebel’s scope of work covers the study phase to the construction and commissioning management.
The biogas flowrate to be produced - between 250 Nm3/h and 350 Nm3/h - will be treated, upgraded by removing CO2 and, once transformed into biomethane, injected to the natural gas grid.
