The Mujib Dam is in the Wadi Al Mujib, south of Madaba and north of Al Karak in Jordan. It is mainly used for irrigation purposes. It is a composite dam, consisting of a roller-compacted concrete (RCC) middle section and clay core rockfill (CCR) sections at both abutments. The 67 m high and 466 m long RCC section has a concrete volume of 660,590 m³. The RCC section is founded on limestone, while the CCR sections are founded on mudstone and limestone.
