French business mission to Romania focuses on sustainable growth and investment

Tractebel participated as part of the mission in Bucharest which explored collaborative opportunities between the two countries in energy, infrastructure and more. Mission members met with top Romanian dignitaries, including the Prime Minister.

Collaboration and opportunity were on the table during the French business mission in Bucharest, Romania, February 1 – 3, 2022. Discussions focused on financing and investments in Energy, Transport, Infrastructure and other areas of common interest between France and Romania. Tractebel was proudly represented among mission members by Charles-Edouard Delpierre, General Manager, Business Line Urban.

Exploring opportunities with the Prime Minister and the Ambassador of France

The mission met the Honourable Mr. Nicolae Ciucă, Prime Minister of Romania, to reinforce the collaborative future of the two countries. They also had meaningful exchanges with Her Excellency Mrs. Laurence Auer, Ambassador of France in Romania, members of the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and several government dignitaries from key ministries including Transport and Infrastructure, Finance, Entrepreneurship and Tourism and Economy.

Organized by MEDEF International and its France-Romania Business Council, the event was led by Geoffroy Roux de Bézieux, President of MEDEF and Mari-Noëlle Jégo-Laveissière, Chairman of the France-Romania Business Council, ENGIE board member, CEO of Orange Europe and Deputy CEO of the Orange Group.
