Port of Antwerp - New Coordination Center

The new building will centralize, integrate and optimize the various players in the nautical chain in the Port of Antwerp into a functional common workplace with permanent digital applications and sustainable infrastructures. It will be operational 24/7.

In particular, it will include office space, but also a control tower, a data center and social facilities. It will accommodate up to 60 people at a time and have an area of about 6,500 sq. meters.

The new building is expected to be operational in 2024.

Tractebel has been charged with the following tasks:

• Preliminary study with a view to obtaining a validated program of requirements including the corresponding cost estimate.
• Elaboration and validation of a final specifications and cost estimate based on the execution of a pre-competitive negotiation procedure for the design, construction and maintenance of the CCA (design, construction, maintenance)
• Assistance to the client in the different phases of the procurement process
• Permanent control and supervision of the execution of the works up to and including the provisional acceptance, including the final statement of account and the handing over of the as-built file.
• Follow-up of the guarantee period (2 years) up to and including the final delivery.
