We are pleased to announce that the Duba Green ISCCPP project, on which we are SEC’s Owner’s Engineer, has reached a significant milestone: 10 Million man-hours Lost Time Injury free

Duba Green Project is an Integrated Solar Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Power Plant (ISCCPP), a new form of energy generation designed to increase thermal efficiency through the integration of solar energy to pre-heat a certain volume of boiler water which is introduced into the Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG), the water being heated by Concentrated Solar Technology using Parabolic Dish design. The gas turbines at Duba have being further designed to run on 3 different types of fuel.

This green and flexible generation plant, when completed, is expected to deliver approximately 600MW to the electricity grid in the western region of Saudi Arabia and forms a key part of the Saudi Arabian government’s Vision 2030 plans and the NEOM development.
