Another Smart City for India

Tractebel deepens its involvement in India’s urban infrastructure market with Pasighat Smart City.

Tractebel has been awarded the Design, Engineering and Project Management Consultancy contract for development of Pasighat Smart City, in India. This 36-month long assignment, with PwC as our partner, includes the development and redevelopment of roads, parks and water bodies, the central market place and a riverfront.

“This is the fourth Smart City project for Tractebel in India, which further consolidates our position in this sector. The project is unique among India’s smart city missions as it includes retrofitting to improve existing areas as well as redevelopment of 140 acres of land,” said Dr. A.K. Jha, Urban Infrastructure Product Head at Tractebel in India.
