The Indian Government intends to develop the Yamuna River in the city of Delhi. It is conceived as an integrated development project combining several functions of the river. In a two-staged study the feasibility of the development is investigated. The study is focusing on the Delhi area, but developments outside the project area, such as changes in water resources management, water quality, and climate change cannot be neglected and are taken into account. The project was executed in joint venture with our affiliate IMDC.
