The Sopladora Hydropower Plant is located on the Paute River between the provinces of Azuay and Morona Santiago, in Ecuador. The plant stands out as an underground works and was inaugurated in August 2016 with an installed capacity of 487 MW, becoming the third Plant of the Hydroelectric Complex of Paute River.
