The future geothermal power plant, located in the Cité Descartes in Champs-sur-Marne (77), will supply 10,000 housing equivalents in the municipalities of Champs-sur-Marne and Noisiel. Geothermal energy, a natural, local and renewable resource, will supply 82% of the heating network, thereby contributing to the objectives of developing renewable energy and combating climate change. Residents will thus benefit from heat with low environmental impact.

Following a competitive bidding process, the City of Champs-sur-Marne awarded the contract to ENGIE Energie Services, a company that has been Champs-sur-Marne has confiered to ENGIE Energie Services, the local public service delegation agreement for the production, operation and distribution of the geothermal heat network for the for the cities of Champs-sur-Marne and Noisiel.

SERVICES PROVIDED

ENGIE RÉSEAUX commissioned Tractebel France to carry out the following missions:
• Thermo-hydraulic simulation (STH);
• Sketch (ESQ);
• AVP studies (APS and APD);
• Project studies (PRO);
• On the basis of PRO studies, creation of technical files for consulting businesses (DCE);
• Works Contract Assistance (ACT);
• Document verification (VISA) and summary of business execution studies (SYN);
• Direction of the execution of works contracts (DET);
• Scheduling, steering and coordination of works (OPC);
• Assistance with reception operations (AOR);
• Records of Works Executed (DOE).
