The Centre Hospitalier Chrétien (CHC) is a collection of six clinics, outpatient clinics and several rest and care homes. To rationalize the care it offers and be able to develop cutting-edge medical techniques, the CHC decided to build a new hospital with 790 beds, which will replace three of the six clinics. The new hospital will comprise three sections: a wing housing pediatric and maternity care, a wing for the hospitalization of adults and a building housing medico-technical services such as medical imaging, the operations department or the laboratory.
There are about 1950 parking spaces. A part is underground and another part is exterior.
The future hospital will have an area of 100,000 m².
Design and implementation were entrusted to four design consultants. The architecture was entrusted to the association Assar-Artau-Hoet & Minne. The structural study mission was entrusted to the consultants Greisch. The CHC’s internal design office is responsible for elevators and medical fluids.
