Brazil, the country known for its huge hydropower plants, is moving forward with its energy mix diversification with the implementation of smaller plants and renewables projects. In an interview with BNamericas, Cláudio Maia, CEO of Tractebel in Latin America, talks about the rise of decentralised energy and the expected boom in transmission and distribution thanks to the recent completion of large plants.
