Smart Underground Space & Infrastructures

The conference deals with major issues:

• Revisiting today’s challenges of the underground space and urban infrastructures in considering rapid demographic growth, urban hazards increase, global warming & climate change and sustainability.
• Exploring civil engineering innovative solutions in the design, construction and management of underground facilities and urban infrastructures.
• Sharing experiences in the use of digital technology in lifecycle infrastructures management (smart sensing, smart grids, smart infrastructures, smart buildings, smart cities, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Augmented & Virtual Reality).

Thursday, October 10 during session 6 : Smart Infrastructures II, Charles-Edouard and Reza Taharzadeh will present “Utility corridors for sustainable cities”, the method suggested by the Clé de Sol Guide with a concrete example in Nanterre, near La Défense.
